Ride With The Comanche Indians In Warlord’s Black Powder

Continuing a look at the Black Powder range from Warlord Games they have just announced some sets for the Comanche Indians led by the enigmatic Crazy Horse and Gall...
"Crazy Horse was a Native American war leader who took up arms against the U.S. Federal government to fight against encroachments on the territories and way of life of the Lakota people, including leading a war party to victory at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in June 1876.
Born around 1840, Gall was said to receive his nickname after eating the gall of an animal killed by a neighbour. He grew to be a giant of a man weighing close to 300 pounds."
I love reading these little titbits of information from Warlord. It's great tangential learning as it sends you on to reading their Wikipedia entries and more. Of the two leaders as good as Crazy Horse was I think I'd have to stand next to Gall for the extra muscle!
The Comanches as a whole were a deadly warrior nation that had battle and warfare at the centre of their culture. They developed many fantastic ways to fight from horseback using a vast array of weapons.
Some great looking miniatures once again created in conjunction with Conquest Miniatures. I think Black Powder fans are in for even more treats.
What do you think, Crazy Horse or Gall?
