The Plastic British Are Coming To Perry Miniatures
January 28, 2013 by brennon
Perry Miniatures are looking to continue their trend of good plastic kits with British Infantry from the American War of Independence. Check out the models and the box art below...
These models will be available in late March and as you can see it will come with a good number of options for the various troopers. After playing Assassins Creed III it's certainly peaked my interest in the period and it would be good to start a Redcoat army.
What do you think of this new plastic kit?
Let me know your thoughts below.
Like all the Perry stuff, excellent sculpts and well priced.
I would say that the whole range are currently the best overall deal out there for plastic 28mm miniatures taking into account quality and cost, if they happen to do subjects you want to model, and I include certain parts of fantasy in there especially with the war of the roses stuff, they would definitely be my first choice.
CANT wait for the awi stuff so can use with my french and indian war stuff.
Nice to see this release.
These look to be the Perrys usual high standard. Slightly disappointed though, I’m waiting on their North Africa WW2 kits which are also shown on the plastics workbench page. Could Beasts of War use any of your contacts for an eta on them? 😉
They look sweet.
Been a fair bit of love for the period of late and it is all to the good.
Usual excuses for not getting any apply 🙁
If, oops I mean IF, as in, “no chance any time soon if ever” I clear the back log then would love to have some even if just to paint.
With a decent set of skirmish rules I can see me getting these. Ooh look Muskets and tomahawks….. Sold
I play Muskets got painted figures and rules. if you fancy a game
make for pretty good volunteer infantry if you’re into Napoleonic’s – Haverford West incident, 1798 Irish Rebellion… could even do the intended 1803 French invasion! The Newport Volunteers in their trademark slouched hats! Yup. Looks like I’ll be forking out for at least one box of these…
