Perry Miniatures Turn Up The Heat With Desert Rats
April 8, 2013 by brennon
Perry Miniatures have a fantastic new plastic set for you to enjoy, the Desert Rats for the period of 1940-1943. Check out the artwork and some of the miniatures below...
These miniatures that have plenty of character and charm to them would be perfect for your desert campaigns. I love the mix of components and to make it even better you get thirty eight models in the box!
Desert warfare is one of those areas that I don't know much about but it always looked like a cool area to use for wargaming.
What do you think of this new set?
Those are rather good. Now all these guys need is some Afrika Korps to fight against.
Head for SAS conversion too.
£18 for 38 quality figures
Can’t be bad.
now these I want
Seems they found a small gap in the market at least. I would however have been happier had they said they were going to market some Samurai sculpts in plastic. I live in hope… Waiting for Warlord to get me some Japanese infantry in plastic for far east ww2.
@mecha82: DAK are coming out in plastic as well, box contents simmilar too those of the British, sufficient troops to make a platoon sized unit with support weapons.
I believe these guys will be out for salute.
Also work in progress for metal Italians for the desert, and at the moment there is a wip of a bren carrier on their site as well.
Future in the desert looks sunny….
