Perry Miniatures Call the Napoleonic Medic
May 22, 2012 by brennon
The battlefield is a dangerous place and sooner or later you are going to need a medic. Thankfully Perry Miniatures provides, on the Napoleonic battlefield at least.
This Apothecary Wagon comes complete with both the wounded and surgeons from the Russian army. A perfect centre piece for a diorama or objective on the battlefield. You could have your Russian forces protecting the injured as an assault happens for example.
Lots of character and emotion is invested in this miniature so should be a good shout for a historical gamer.
Will you be picking this up?
This would be a very evocative diorama, but there’s also use to be had from the individual pieces. The orderly helping a soldier hobble along is full of narrative and could be very useful as a mobile objective to escort across the board – perhaps the soldier has a noble relative who wants him safe for example.
The wagon itself is well done also and with all those drawers could be useful in a fantasy or steampunk RPG as the transport for a travelling merchant – just needs a bit of signage.
Its good to see those ready and painted. Those are defenetly come to life.
