Musketeer Miniatures Ride Into Battle With Arthur
November 30, 2013 by brennon
Musketeer Miniatures will be riding into battle alongside Arthur with some upcoming cavalry 'knights' for their Romano British range. Will you be part of his round table?
These chaps always do some very nice historical sculpts and I am rather taken with this period of Arthurian history after the fall of the Roman Empire. I love the design of the armour and the weapons as well as the folklore that surrounds it all.
I can't wait to see these join their existing range because I might have to pick some up. I like the idea of having a small collection of knights to pit against Mordred and some deadly Saxons.
What do you think?
Sweet looking models.
Although I prefer a later fantasy Arthurian setting these look good
I prefer Arthur to be based in this early Dark age post Roman period. Lots of scope for small campaigns and scenarios as well
I’ll more than likely be getting some of these.
Here here
I could see these being added as proxies for Rohan – the armour and clothing fit right into Middle-earth.
I really like the riders. The horses, however, are a mixed bunch.
In the first pic the horse on the right looks great. The one on the left suffer from the unfortunate “rocking horse” syndrome.
The one in the middle is, well, between the two. Both figuratively and literally. 🙂
I’ll keep my eyes on these guys. Not sure what I would want to use the models for though. Can’t think of any SAGA warband that I want to play that could utilize them and I’m using Firforge plastics to do my KoW Kings of Men/Ogres/Demons army.
