Go Island Hopping With Bolt Action’s US Marines

Warlord Games have been stoking the fires of Bolt Action shiny syndrome with the pre-order details of their new US Marines set which is looking very nice indeed.
As you can see the kit comes with a variety of awesome bits and pieces for customising your soldiers and making them look like real individuals on the battlefield. I have been messing around with the German kit for Bolt Action and it's very fun indeed.
I like that these chaps are looking like a group of well oiled veterans and grizzled to boot. Them being all plastic is also a plus as I hate having to work with metal, but that's just me!
A great set for your next WWII scuffle?
Not only is there a great boxed set of marines – there is a Semper Fidelis marine army starter set featuring these new plastics plus 1 of the new plastic M3 halftracks along with a small number of metal support figures. Great stuff. And the US Army gets the M3’s plus the Armoured Fist set which has 3 M3’s and 30 US Infantry!

The release of the plastic marines leaves me hopeful for a plastic US Airborne set in the future 🙂
