Grab a Kukri and Join the Bolt Action Ghurkas

During WWII the British drew troops from all corners of the empire. One of the most famous of these are the Nepalese Gurkhas, who are now ready to step into the battles of Bolt Action.
This new box set contains 21 metal miniatures of the fearsome Gurkha soldiers, kitted out with a variety of weapons including their signature Kukri knives.
Leading the brave Nepalese soldiers is Major James Rutherford Lumley, father of the modern day actress Joanna Lumley.
It is interesting to note that Joanna Lumley is an outspoken advocate of the Gurkha Justice Campaign, a group which campaigns to see that the Gurkhas who served the United Kingdom are granted the same rights as the other Commonwealth soldiers.
Warlord Games have stated that "this boxed set is as much in honour of her successful stance as for that of the bravery of her father and his Nepalese charges."
Will you be deploying the Gurkhas in your battles against the Axis?
As soon as I settle on an army to really get into Bolt Action, they go and release something to make me want to change my plans. Damn you Warlord 🙂
Lucky I grabbed a load of Brits (as it were) when I did, or I’d have a similar dilemma. I’ll leave the Ghurkas for a possibly never-to-be 3rd army (after Jerry).
