France & Britain Clash In Warlord Games’ Black Powder
August 13, 2013 by brennon
Warlord Games are adding more French reinforcements to the fight for North America in Black Powder. See what you think of this metal regiment for the Compagnie Franches de la Marines.
These units were bought together from back in France and from the colonies in the new world and were incredibly effective against both the natives and the British.
The men were expert woodsmen, something integral for fighting in the Northern lands of America and passed their skills on to new troops making them an invaluable addition to the French army.
Do you like the look of this set?

They are on my wish list but I’m thinking more on the lines of Muskets and Tomahawks. It’s just that for this conflict I think a skirmish game would suit better. Either way I’ll want to do a British wilderness force first.
Brennon, they’re not plastic, the box clearly states metal. It’s just a repackage of Conquest minis existing line
Oops yeah, slip of the keyboard! Think I had plastic on the brain yesterday.
I agree that this has ‘muskets and tomahawks’ potential.
Looks really interesting. Would this be worthy of an unboxing?
