December 13, 2013 by brennon
Flames of War is covering World War II, Vietnam and the Arab/Israeli War in their December releases. The first stop is to delve into some tank battles courtesy of Desperate Measures.
This supplement allows you to take part in the mechanised tank battles on the Eastern Front. Big guns, lots of history and plenty more is going to be available. As well as the start of the war this book also carries the tank engagements right up to the gates of Berlin.
Vietnam is not to be outdone though as they have added another plane for the USA. The A-1 Skyraider was a versatile craft that served the army well throughout the entire of the conflict. It could be equipped with.
...an assortment of torpedoes, mine dispensers, minigun pods, white phosphorous bombs, high explosive rockets, 500lb bombs, cluster bombs, and napalm. The aircraft’s own 20mm cannon could unload a further 800 rounds...
That's a lot of weapons.
The Arab/Israeli War is also catered to with some half-tracks including the M3 TCM-20 and the M3 D. The first is an awesome piece of anti-aircraft kit and helped keep the skies clear. The second is a mobile mortar team allowing you to mechanise your army and make it a tough one to shift off the board.
What will you be getting for Christmas?
