Copplestone Crown an English King
June 25, 2012 by brennon
Copplestone Castings are back with some more miniatures for across the span of history. First up is actually a King of England! Check out Henry V below...
Standing in a valiant and commanding pose he would be a moral boosting beacon on the battlefield. But if you're looking for something a little bit more modern then check out their Zanzibar Regulars...
Above are their sets for both Marching and Action posed Regulars. Could they be making it into your Darkest Africa campaigns, either as rank and file infantry in a large army or unfortunate guards in a Pulp adventure.
What do you think of the latest Copplestone Historical offerings?
Is it just me or does this guy look like Prince Charles? The pose is also a bit goofy. Fitting, perhaps.
The Zanzibar marching are the best of the lot. Grant it I would expect them to have their powder or belly boxes all on their right side or front and for the muskets to be held all on the same side. I’m just being picky as I did reenactment of the revolution war often.
I like copplestone castings. They are always such nice clean figures and are very easy to paint. I seem to be able to paint them about twice the speed of other minis for some reason.
