The Captain of the Arabic Corsairs Sails from Brother Vinni
November 20, 2013 by dracs
Brother Vinni have a new mini ready to plunder the Arabian seas, Captain Lorenzo al-Arabi.
It's well known that there was a strong piratical presence around Arabia and it is refreshing to find a corsair of a different culture, rather than the stereotypical ones which were usually from British or other European heritage.
The miniature is somewhat static, but the pose isn't really supposed to be that of a fighter. Its more that of an imposing leader, although I can't help but feel that it is a little too static and almost relaxed for someone who is supposed to be leading a band of blood thirsty thieves.
Will you set sail under this captain?

nice minis and a pretty good price considering they’re resin – expand the range and I could get very interested…
He wouldn’t be out of place at the head of an army whacking crusaders.
