Bolt Action’s Pegasus Bridge Is Out Now!
October 7, 2013 by brennon
If you're interested in the history and skirmish of Pegasus Bridge then you need to wait no longer! Well, you need to wait for it to be delivered but here it is. Warlord Games' Bolt Action welcomes this new set that looks epic!
In the box you get...
- Laser-cut Bridge
- Laser-cut Cafe Gondres
- Resin Gun Pit
- Metal 5cm KwK 39 anti-tank gun and 3 crew
- Laser-cut Pillbox
- Metal German MG42 MMG team
- 2 laser-cut telegraph poles (on the Cafe sheets)
- 20 plastic German Infantry and plastic bases
- Major John Howard and plastic base (exclusive new model)
- 10 man British Airborne squad and plastic bases
- 2-man PIAT team and plastic bases
- Scenario booklet
- Decal sheets for the Paras and Heer
Now that sounds like an epic battle to get you excited about the game or revitalised for it! I know that I have been watching some people play games at our local club and my God this game looks fun. That and our play through with Alessio and Andy from Warlord have sparked off the shiny syndrome in me.
If you are feeling like you'd like a bit more and have the cash to spare then how about the Ham & Jam Collector's Edition of the Pegasus Bridge set? Now that is one massive additional haul.
Which one are you going for?
Looking so very cool!
I am totally in awe of Warlord and TooFatLardies for the way they manage to bring WW2 to the gamingboards..
I have now about 1000 points of British para’s so maybe it’s time for some Jerrys..
For BoW, maybe some more video’s like the one Warren did with Warlord? I mean, if you are settled again in Ireland?
Gott in himmel! agree on both counts – tis indeed an awesome looking set, very tempted to buy it for my dad for Christmas (trying to get him into Bolt Action for a while, and, with The Longest Day being one of his favourite films this set could swing it haha).
I think like a lot of other people, I’ve loved the flames of war coverage but a bit more Bolt Action (even just a one off from time to time) would be much appreciated 🙂
or even easier in the satellite studio in Nottingham where Warlord HQ is as well – and yes I would rather see that than any 40K
Wow. I’d get that.
Looks absolutely fantastic but for €200??? I’ll have to pass
It looks really well!
One question. Am surprised to see what I think is a Marder III Jagdpanzer (?)
Am assuming Bolt Action have done the research so it is a piece of kit involved or at least available in Normandy. Just that I thought the Marder would have been replaced by June 1944.
At least it isn’t a Stug else it would be impossible to prize Warren off the box! lol
The production was phased out in 1944, but Marders served to the end of the war. IIRC there were over 300 in service in 1945.
