He’s back, hooray
I would have to play the US every time. Just love those choppers.
“Get to the Chappa!!”
Lol, just watched that today.
If you’re doing “blue vs. blue” with the Americans, I think it would be “blue vs. grey”: Civil War Part II – This Time it’s Personal.
Choppers are ‘iconic’ to Vietnam. Couldn’t resist myself. The force is strong with that one my young Padawans.
have to win an army….. must buy opposite one :))
Jeez, you are an editing FIEND, Justin.
I like the sneakiness of the PAVN army.
Really torn between American and PAVN after this one. Dave makes the PAVN sound really attractive.
I want to play as GARY OWEN!
choppers are so cool
Fantastic breakdown, guys. Now I can’t for the life of me decide which force to build.
My desire for hour long videos has been sated! Many thanks All! Great review.
I would chose veteran over fearless.
So would I I would go for veteran any time….
Some good insights there, and the teamplay between Warren and Dave seems to work fine. Please carry on, sirs!
Gotta agree with this. They form an very formidable team.
And on the CV vs FT question. IMHO, CV is one of the most forgiving ratings to play with. The extra cost is justified by the boost in survivability and skill checks. (Plus it means you have less things to paint!)
I haven’t won any thing since I won a chook raffle at the pub in the nineties, but you got to be in it to win it……
in it to win it!
I’ve Just about got round to finishing off my small starter armies I got from Wargames Illustrated a few years ago, just a platoon or two each side – so think I will be expanding the forces with some of this new stuff – also some custom ‘Hollywood’ rules will most likely be devised..
I’m a bit of a book fiend and Flames of War churn out a lot of tomes. thus seeing inside the book itself for the content is jolly welcome, thank you.
The ANZACS are looking even better as an army for me. Might even get some PAVN for variety \.
The return of Dave. Awesome!
Correct me if I’m wrong but was that a FART I heard @ 39:47, it was after Dave finished talking. 😉
wasn’t me
hmm i c someone lifting his cheeck 🙂
most definatly a FART. and you can c ho the culpret is 🙂
I think you’re safe for now Warren. Lol
welcome back dave 🙂 i knew that warren would take the americans 😉 but as i said bevore i would prefer the vc, because i like their play style. and after hearing the special rules of them i think when i will start i would take a whole infanterie battalion and placing ambushes all over the place. hrhr Thx guys for your talking about the book and all the information. But Dave honestly please dont forget the (west)german battle tanks of this time and after that. Dont worry i would not repeat my thread about them again 😉 So guys… Read more »
Hueys are just great. I like how the ANZACs got their first gunships – carted a truckload of beer over to a US base, and traded it for a Huey gunship.
well them giving away beer is a stoning offence back home
Wow, there’s a lot more to VC than just infantry. I love all those options… minefields, machinegun nests…..
