Victrix Preview Their Painted Plastic Unarmoured Hoplites
April 1, 2014 by brennon
Victrix have slowly but surely working their way towards the massive Greek soldier sets in 28mm. The newest preview comes in the form of their painted Unarmoured Hoplites with shields and spears raised for combat...
As we've mentioned before on this subject you are going to get at least 56 models in these sets! That is a lot of soldiers and should bolster or indeed start a new historical army from the Greek States.
The one thing I do love about the Greek armies is that their shields are covered in so many intricate designs. Of course most of the time these are going to be transfers for us mere mortals but when you see someone who has done free hand work it's awesome indeed.
Will you be picking up these sets?

I would absolutely love to see a print-to-order transfer service. I’m much handier with illustrator/photoshop than I am with a brush.
There are plenty of places where you can buy blanks clear or white decal sheets so you could make you own, you can buy the sheets for either inkjet or Laser printers
A Greek army with the Beasts of War logo…
A whopping 56 models for a cheap cheap price we will not mention…
