The Macedonian Pikemen Of Victrix Rank Up In Their Phalanx

Victrix have put together a little preview of their upcoming Macedonian Pikemen who would have ranked up with bristling spears out in front of them and a row of gleaming bronze shields facing the enemy...

I love the idea of seeing this army arrayed on the tabletop with spears up at the back and the front ranks hunkered down ready to defend against oncoming attackers.

As well as the models you can see above they also showed off a few more details of the helmets which will be available for these soldiers. Hellenistic and Corinthian helmets are going to be included within the set it seems...

I like the over the top helmets with the wings on each side. I think they look great and work well for commanders of different units. The other helmets are very typical of the period and I remember them from the likes of Civilisation and Age of Empires.
