Hold The Hot Gates With Warlord’s Upcoming Spartan Army Set

If you like the idea of starting off an Ancient army but don't fancy Romans then Warlord Games look to be creating a Spartan Starter Army as an alternative.
This set popped up online recently featuring a hell of a lot of Spartans and plenty of metal models to compliment that sea of plastic. We also saw this preview of two General figures too.
They have the look of the Historical Spartans over something from 300, but you know what, I think that's actually much cooler! I remember playing as the Spartans in Rome: Total War and having a lot of fun with this elite force in the digital realm.
Hopefully, Hail Caesar fans are going to enjoy using this new collection in their tabletop games too.
Are you tempted by a new Spartan army?

Go, tell the Spartans, stranger passing by. That here, obedient to their laws, we lie.
I always have, and always will, love the Spartans. Too many projects currently, but my
WAB army has gathered too much dust, so maybe the Lacadomians will gain some reinforcements this year.
Lacedaemonians 😉
That’s a Jurassic period crustacean isn’t it?
I’ve been drinking since 10 be thankful it’s readable at all ^^
nice.
The good old Immortal plastics..odd scale but lovely. The metals look cool as well 😎
Very nice.
If all of my armies where painted, I would muster a huge host of Sparta, I would paint them with dazzling carefully layered metallic, I would send them forth and crush all on the tabletop to the lamentation of my foes.
If ..
Look nice, but not one for me, maybe a smaller force when saga 2 lands
