FireForge’s Crusaders Go Forth on Foot
July 31, 2012 by dracs
FireForge Games have published some WIP's for their upcoming Crusader Infantry. Because you have to get off your high horse some times.
As you can see from these images the infantry miniatures are shaping up to be a rather nice selection of dynamic sculpts. The positioning looks to be good and you get a sense of them charging into combat, as opposed to the way such miniatures are often portrayed just standing patiently in rank and file.
It seems there will be a good selection of customisation in terms of equipment and I have to say that I particularly like the look of how the command miniatures are turning out. I could definitely see these guys being included in plenty of historical and fantasy games.
What are your thoughts on the FireForge range? Do you like the look of these WIP's? Be sure to leave us a comment below.
Must have!
Nice mini’s, would go well in any fantasy mass combat game, namely Kings of war.
The legs remind me of the old Timpo Crusaders and knights, and the cloaks look a tad odd so a little disappointed.
But I think you have to put that into the context of the high expectations we have come to have of Fire Forge in a very short space of time.
I really like what they are doing so far.
For you young whippersnappers this is what you missed out on, ah happy days.

Love the separate cloaks, far more easy to paint them and maybe it can be magnetized ( head included )
For what they are they look like a a fine kit. I could even see some used to convert other models into cool caped warriors.
