Face the Persians with Warlord’s Plastic Spartans
January 12, 2012 by dracs
As some of you may already know Warlord recently bought Immortal Miniatures and have started to re-release the great selection of plastic Greeks for Hail Caesar.
First up are the staunch Hoplites of Sparta.
Hot on the Spartans' heels come the Hoplite Phalanx of the other Greek city states.
This all just leads me to ask one question. Gamers! What is your profession?!

These are fantastic.
It seems you can put prity well anything you wish on greek shields, even google faces.
Well, as far as I can tell, they’re all authentic greek designs…
These look great and I’m not into the historical stuff, but would love to have some Persians to oppose the Spartans.
ooh they look well
Would love those Hoplites
Those are rather good.
Anyone actually play the Hail Caesar rule system?
I second the implied motion to see a Spotlight vid on this too at some stage – preferably with a comparison to Warhammer Historical rulesets so if I have to choose I can make a more informed choice.
As to the figs, they could also be used for fantasy gaming. Kings of War has a human army list now with lots of ‘pointy stick’ troops and these would make an interesting alternative to WHFB Empire models.
