Elephants Charge Into Hail Caesar Soon – Tanks Of The Ancient World
June 20, 2016 by brennon
Elephants are charging into the world of Hail Caesar soon from Warlord Games. These 'tanks of the ancient world' fight for the Macedonian Successors and would have been a mighty pain to fight against on the battlefield.
Here you can see the Elephant looking incredibly heavily armoured with a big face plate for its front too. Considering that these big creatures could be felled by a plethora of spears in its side or arrows to scare it it makes sense that they'd make sure to cover them in armour.
I used to think that I'd feel rather happy being up their in that howdah or indeed sitting controlling the Elephant but you'd be effectively a sitting duck for an enterprising archer if they wanted to make a pin cushion of you.
Are you likely to pick up one of these for your army - maybe even two or three?
Let us know!

Any use for one in a current project? Nope
Want one? Yass!
Wow… Seleucid’s anyone? 😛
I think the Aventine ones are nicer. From memory elephants are that effective in HC
I have no interest in Hail Caesar, I do however now have a previously undiscovered interest in obtaining a 28mm elephant
looks good.
