New Warlord Titan & Knight Weaponry Forged By Games Workshop
November 14, 2018 by brennon
Games Workshop has been talking about what's new for Adeptus Titanicus and it looks like you're going to be getting some new kits which add more weaponry to the game. For example, you'll be able to rock out with a Warlord Titan and its Plasma Annihilators.
This new kit also comes with an Arioch Titan Power Claw for when your Titan wants to get up close and personal with the enemy. You could imagine it melting the enemy into a pile of slag before stomping over and tearing it apart with that power claw.
Matched against the Warlord Titan we also have some new goodies for your Reaver Titans too. This new version comes with Melta Cannons and Chainfist.
There are plenty of great new options on the way for someone wanting to drop Titans onto the tabletop with some new weapon configurations. As well as the weapon options you'll also find some alternative heads which you can use to personalise your force.
Knightly Support
As well as the Titans you will also be able to snag some new Imperial Knights too. The Cerastus Knight Lancers will be running around the legs of Titans looking to smash them to pieces.
With their awesome shields and big lances which are used to punish foes up close, these fellows are nearly as deadly as the Titans themselves.
Are you still playing games of Adeptus Titanicus on the tabletop?

Regretfully, I have not seen any in store game play for a long tome now. The 40K players remain fixed on the core game and kill team. I have pretty much withdrawn from 40K but I still like to observe a game.
Those look really good.
Here comes the guns here comes the gun’s.
Played the original . No inclination to get back in but looks nice.
Need! Played my third game last week, using a Warlord, Reaver, and Warhound. Was fantastic fun and really captures how titans work, and the fun of asymmetric missions (I had to rescue a titan crew while my opponent was just out for the kill).
The new weapons kits will be a great boon.
My only critique is the Reaver chainfist blades seem a bit too shallow for cutting work: Lovely miniatures though.
I wasn’t excited about the new releases after their post yesterday, I’ve already got 4 warlords, 6 Reaver’s and 8 warhounds magnetised and when they originally said yesterday the only way to get the weapon upgrades was to buy a whole new warlord after forgeworld staff repeatedly said they would release weapon upgrades separately before the game was even released but since the massive backlash from the community yesterday and their decision today, to actually release them separately I will definitely be buying the upgrades. My legio needs more big guns!!
I agree completely! The message was clear: new weapon upgrades available separately at a later date! Now it’s “Well, we’ve heard your voices…”. It’s good GW changed their minds but it still leaves a bad taste at least in my mouth.
Agreed. It’s great that they listened to us, but it really should not have to get to the point where the entire community turns on them in order for them to correct their mistake. Because if we didn’t kick off in a massive way we all know they would have kept it so you have to buy a whole titan just for weapon options.
The whole thing has put me on edge with what other things they might try and pull in the future.
