Gothmog’s Orcs Get Their Middle-Earth Enforcers From Forge World
October 16, 2018 by brennon
Forge World is continuing the release of new Middle-earth miniatures with some characters to add to your Evil Mordor force. Here we have Guritz & Gothmog's Enforcer.
You might remember Guritz from The Return Of The King when he makes his way down to the harbour, awaiting the coming of their much-needed reinforcements. Alas, he only met The Three Hunters and the terrifying Dead Of Dunharrow!
Keeping the Orcs in line, however, you also have Gothmog's Enforcer with his cruel sword at the ready, able to get others moving forward into battle against the men of Gondor.
These models have come out very nicely indeed. I was a fan of the Knights Of Dol-Amroth that they created last month but wasn't overly sold on the paint scheme. Here I think they've nailed it and both characters look just like their movie counterparts.
Will you be snapping them up for your Evil force?

Someone mentioned Lord of the Rings and low I appear.
These models are really nice character sculpts. Not hugely dynamic, but they stand out from the massed ranks of orcs well enough so that I could definitely see them serving well as unit centre pieces.
I have quite a few Orcs, including Gothmog and I’m very tempted to snap up some more to finish it off and make an Evil force. Never played them before but liking the sound of a proper Mordor army.
Go for it man! I’m planning on picking up an Isengard army, so I have one good force and one evil one.
While those have boring poses those are still really good looking miniatures. Too bad price of those two sis just too high for what they are.
@dracs because of you and your love for this game I now have about 1000pts of Khazad-Dum Dwarfs with Balin. And I´m working on an Easterling Army with Khamul as leader… but now I need some Orcs too…
It is your fault Sam, I´m now addicted to the game. ^^ Thank you, the Game is awesome.
Aw Easterling’s can be nasty! They’re not quite as point viable as Uruk Hai, but their characters hit hard!!!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the game.
My whole Club is playing it right now, we do a sort of bootcamp to learn the game. Points limit is at 400pts, after 3 months we will increase it to a max of 750pts. Sunday we played 800pts each side in Moria and it was a hell of a mess. ^^
That sounds like a laugh. The game lends itself really well to points elevation like that.
Great looking models, blink an you could miss them in the film.
Having recently acquired the new LotR rule/army books…I was amazed at how many models I didn’t have yet from the range. And now there’s more…yay! 😛
Just got my Pelennor fields starter set, these would go nicely with the rabble of orcs in the box!
