Forge World are adding more awesomeness into the mix for the world of Necromunda as we check out the Goliath 'Zerker which has been pumped full o' drugs and clearly lifts.

This big, badass looking boy is certainly the kind of 'roided out hulk that you'd want stomping through the Underhive at your side. I love the idea that effectively you'd power up this fellow and just let them loose, smashing through corridors looking to tear everything apart.
"A type of Brute exclusive to House Goliath, the 'Zerker is a fighter whose body has become warped and swollen to gigantic proportions by the effects of the combat stimms pumping through their veins. While a Stimmer is fully in control of this process, the 'Zerker is entirely at its mercy, their system unable to control the rapid and chaotic changes to their bones and muscles."
Somewhere, Bane would really quite like his chemicals back. Well, I say that I think that this 'Zerker has certainly taken the wrong mix of chemicals and I would imagine that these fellows shine brightly before falling, riddled full of bullets.

I doubt he’d have much time for…that…given how much time he probably spends fighting and pumping himself full of chemicals. Though he could just be auditioning for a side role in a Shamalyan movie. (Let’s see how many people get THAT reference.)
I wouldn’t like to say, but when it hits our table it’s getting the name “Warzan” after his comments in XLBS about shaking paint bottles 😀
I also see the Slaver guild (4 models) is up for pre-order for £42. That’s about 1/2 of what I was expecting FW to sell them for…..

WOAH! I was expecting that when the Zerker was released, it would be similar in size and stature to a Stimmer. Kudos to GW for definitely averting my expectations; the ripped-off Ambot head is a nice touch.
there are so many reasons why I shouldn’t like this, but unfortunately none of them are stopping me from liking this! I used to have a Goliath Gang when the original Necromunda launched, and even though I have taken exception to GW’s dripping feeding us rules and books and cards and dice for this, looking at the new Goliath minis (plus the extra heads on FW) I am tempted to get involved ha ha. I may hold off and see if the UK Board Games Expo has stuff and pick it up when I am there – gives me plenty… Read more »
