The Bloodthirsty Night Lord Sevatar Stalks Out Of Forge World
January 29, 2015 by brennon
Another addition to the Forge World Horus Heresy Character Series popped up this morning and the focus is on the Night Lords and Sevatar their First Captain...
This is a brutal looking sculpt that comes with an awesome cinematic base featuring a slain space marine who wasn't lucky enough to avoid his wrath...
"Dangerous and fearsomely violent, Sevatar is a master of close assault, tearing through Loyalist Space Marines and their allies with his nostraman chainglaive. His skill, coupled with nascent but long repressed psychic powers, makes his strikes and parries uncannily precise, blocking the blows of his opponent with ease and expertly evading their defences to deliver the killing blow."
A pretty deadly looking addition to the character series and you can get a closer look at some of the detail on the base and his alternate head here...
The miniature is currently up for pre-order and the rules for him will be found within Horus Heresy Book Two and the Isstvan Campaign Legions book. He will be available and in your hands come February 6th!
What do you think of him?

Yet more awesomeness!!
Solid FW quality as far as sculpt goes. Too bad that design wise he does not look so special if you compare him to some of previous primarchs that FW has made. I could see him very well being used as Nightlords Chaos Lord.
Well, he is no the primarch but the 1st captain.
Nice miniature ! Love the scenic of it.
My bad. I should had really read that discription before commenting.
Really like this. Am currently torn between starting Malifaux or starting Night Lords CSM army after my Death Guard project. This is a big point in favour of Konrad’s lads!
GW fluff just cracks me up.
I think it’s a great sculpt – not what I envisioned Sevatar looking like though. Cannot quite put my finger on what it is though.
Considering I’m a FW whore, I’m not overly keen about it, bats wings should be cool and menacing. But they really aren’t.
Sad to say this, but back in the day when the night lords started this bat wing helmet thing it was cool. Now it just shouts how dated that idea is and how today’s tastes have changed.
Its the same with the legion of the dammed kit, I remember when the metal kit came out for second edition, was like the most super awesome thing ever, but now… Not so much. Which is a shame because I still have them sitting in the box!
Is that a can opener for a weapon? Though, that would be appropriate for killing Space Marines.
great looking figure.
Not a big fan of the Night Lords style though I can see why others do, as with Curze not my tastes but fantastic for those that enjoy them.
