A Chaotic Commemorative Miniature For Warhammer Day
October 1, 2024 by brennon
Games Workshop are preparing for another preview to land this weekend, 5th October. Warhammer Day will be celebrating all things Chaos and to celebrate that, there is a brand new commemorative miniature that you'll be able to buy.
Tzarketh, Bane Of Law // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar
Tzarketh bucks the trend of your classic wizard in Warhammer lore and wears the mighty armour that is so iconic of these despoilers. He is drawing raw power from the winds of magic and using it to mutate and twist his foes. So much so that his book is starting to get a little freaky!
This miniature will be available whilst stocks last on 5th October and could be good for use in Warhammer Age Of Sigmar or perhaps on the battlefields of The Old World.
The Warhammer Day Preview will kick off at 5pm BST and cover the games below...

I am intrigued to see what's coming in the form of Chaos for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age Of Sigmar. That is also a new logo for Warhammer Underworlds so I would guess we're going to see that refreshed with a brand-new boxed set. Skaven Vs Stormcast/Cities Of Sigmar?
Are you going to be watching this weekend?

I actually like that model. No foot on rock, only 4 skulls, a classic pose and not a bazillion flimsy things that could break. Where is the catch?
“This miniature will be available whilst stocks last”
There it is. *sigh*
I agree, like it for all the same reasons!
You would think we’d be immune to such dissapointments, but alas such things still sting!
Don’t worry! After the bots snag them all, you’ll be able to pick it up Oct. 6th on eBay at 3-4 times the price!
@bennythejew and @sundancer
Oddly available, at a 15% discount, at my usual online shop. Didn’t want one, so didn’t order it, but stock seems to be fine.
@sundancer – four skulls AND A FEMUR!
But yeah, the bots will ruin this like they are ruining live music.
Model is fine, but not doing it for me feels like a amalgamation of cad assets from other models.
Honestly will see detail after they haven’t been doing interesting reveals for some time. If I had an outside bet, old world based warhammer quest game would be it
I picked up the Chaos Dwarfs for BloodBowl last weekend, I always like small people in big hats!
I like the body and especially the book, but the head looks pretty generic.
