This is quite a nice little tutorial, it’d work for all sorts of minis. For a corroded Death Guard this kind of base would look fantastic on a 30k list.
I have to say that the guy who does Games Workshop’s painting Tutorial’s is very good. He doesn’t use hugely advanced techniques, he’s presents subject matter in a very clear manner, he sounds friendly and engaging and he shows you exactly what you need to do to achieve the same results you see in their box cover pictures – perfect for the man on the street. I think these videos are one of the things GW does really well, even if much of their online engagement is quite weak.
I agree with you on that. One of the few areas that they have down right.
