im quite new to 40k,is it perfectly ok to get a vehicle that close to another vehicle f your not asaulting?
having played against Necron armies before, and having to listen to Necron player gloat about their wonderful ” LIVING METAL “. Also having whole squads come pouring out of nowhere..
i think that this tactic is a wonderful way to wipe the smile off their faces, and am going to damn well do it the very next time a play a Necron army. will it still work if i were to say land a Valkyrie in front as well?
I say good luck moving up the table tring to park in front of a Monolift before your shot to pieces by it. A Land Raider might make it, just maybe. Make your army a shooty one if your playing agains Necrons, take as many lascannons, and missle launchers as you can. Shoot them back into the void, even if there on objectives. Dont waste shooting phases on the Monolift, just the rest of the army. Thats how my Ultra’s do it.
I thought that when they arrive out of the portal from reserve it counts as disembarking from the monolith. So wouldn’t they just do an emergency disembarkation if the portal was blocked?
