By far the most playable, straightforward, fun massed combat game I've played. Historical forces play as they should (my Mongols devour armies with their maneuverability) and fantasy action is fun and fast paced. As soon as my group got a hold of these rules three years ago we ditched every other massed fantasy/history game to play KoW. It gets the job done and is loads of fun.
