Review: Awesome!
I was originally attracted to this game on Kickstarter because I wanted to add a Cursed Earth element to my Judge Dredd games. Once I’d read the rules and had a game, I was hooked.
There are so many reasons to like this game. The miniatures are 35mm of gonzo schlock craziness that are easy to paint and are very original. The community is very supportive and often coming up with fan-made stuff (even a great comic strip!). The game keeps expanding with new options, models and supplements.
The key points that got me all fired up are 1. IT’S SIMPLE yet tactical with a big spoonful of craziness 2. POINT BUY stats and skills to suit whatever models you want to use. This is a major attraction as I have shelves of minis that were gathering dust. Not anymore! It takes literally 5 minutes to create a posse (gang) using the point buy system and it’s very easy to give each model skills/stats that really suit it.
