Freebooter Show Off October’s Awesome Piratical Releases
October 20, 2022 by brennon
A new selection of miniatures have popped up from the folks at Freebooter Miniatures for use with Freebooter's Fate. Two new characters popped up for the month of October alongside an additional supplement for the game.
Marie Pontmercy // Freebooter's Fate
The first of the miniatures is Marie Pontmercy. She is a great leader for your forces and is able to get stuck right into the middle of the fighting, drawing her companions along with her. She also has rules which reflect how many folks will throw themselves in the way of a stray bullet or two coming her way. She can be used by the Debonn or as a Mercenary by any crew except for the Shadows.
Offering up a little bit of a musical interlude, El Mariachi is also stepping into the ring for the Pirates and the Cult.
El Mariachi // Freebooter's Fate
A specialist, El Mariachi is able to inspire those around them. It also helps that a guitar can be used as a weapon when things get a little bit hairy. I do like the idea of the warband "bard" getting stuck in and knocking heads in the local tavern when things get bad.
Spooky Freebooter's Fate Scenarios
Last but not least, we have a new Tales From Longfall focusing on the Shadows.
Shadows Supplement // Freebooter's Fate
As you might have guessed, this particular entry into the mix offers up some spooky new rules for use with Freebooter's Fate. There are new rules and special rules for running a dark selection of Shadow characters. There is also a full Shadow Scenario included so that you can start playing out of the gate.
You will need the Freebooter's Fate Rulebook and some of the Gaming Cards to get going but you can find out about that over on the Shadow supplement listing.
Are you going to be snapping these up?
