Control Creatures & Other Pirates With New Freebooter Characters
January 8, 2016 by brennon
Freebooter Miniatures have shown off two new mercenary units that have been added to their roster of characters for Freebooter's Fate. See what you think of Eugenie and Madame Gorgonne & Cesar. They both have very different ways of scrapping with the enemy...
Eugenie
First off we have this lady who is so beguiling that she can actually convince those around her not to even raise their weapons against her. I would then imagine with a wry smile she will give them a conk round the head and take them out of the fight.
The model looks great and I could see her being given a really vibrant colour scheme to match her attitude. Admittedly she looks more model than pirate but I think sculpt-wise that she's a top notch Freebooter product.
Madame Gorgonne & Cesar
Following on from Eugenie we have Madame Gorgonne and her crocodile named Cesar. While Eugenie controls others with her looks Gorgonne has mystical powers and can use the creatures of the land against her foes.
I really love the idea of having this rather weak old woman controlling a massive crocodile that seems like he has eaten all of her enemies already! I wonder if she can also control other creatures?
What do you think of this pair?

ooh, I like the crocodile… just the beasty to stick in mordheims or Frostgraves or anywheres sewers…
Really nice to see you covering Freebooter’s on BoW. It’s the one system I missed. And Eugenie would be perfect for my Cult.
Lol Eugenie is actually meant to look like she doesn’t fit in; in the new campaign book corporate piracy the two characters that are hiring for the new mercenary crew pretty much say the same thing and pretty much dismiss her as a clueless “doxy that will cry the first time she breaks a nail”… Without giving too much away her appearance is somewhat deceiving and she makes the crew.
I really love these mini’s.
