XP frozen?

Hi.  My XP has been stuck at 12499 for a few weeks despite me doing stuff that usually increases it.  Is it just me or is this a wider issue for OTTers?

XP are experience points.  They are the number under your user name when you post here.  You get them by doing stuff and having people like your posts.  None of us can have them at the moment because they seem to be frozen.

It’s a silly e-pen!is meter showing how much you’ve spammed the forums and posted in projects.

Given that the Brain melting puzzles are no longer with us there’s no point in it.

As silly as they may seem I still like them so I’d like to see them working again.  I particularly enjoyed the bonus points we used to get every year for interactions across the site and on Projects, not just when we got stuff but when we did enough liking of other perple’s stuff too.  If they aren’t working and aren’t part of the next site regeneration then fair enough, we might as well save on the 1 and 0s and turn them off entirely.

Well, I’ve got five though I’ve only just started getting them, it seems. Compared to what everyone else seems to have this may not seem a lot but I’ve earned them and deserve to keep them even if it looks like being a long time till I get to level 2.

I upvoted someone the other day and saw them move to 13k. Aside from a landmark number event like that I’m not really keeping count.

I’ve leapt from five to eight, a sure sign of my increasing stature. I refuse to be intimidated by XP scores that happen to exceed mine by tens of thousands. I’m as good as any of you! You will never, ever, make me feel inferior!

BTW, when do I get a cool badge?

Oh, and what is that blue icon resembling a paint brush that has another number next to it (in my case 0)? Another attempt to denigrate me, no doubt!
