Below is a completed metal figure from Gripping Beast. It is a Carolingian leader that I will have in my Saga warband and it was a true pleasure to paint. The figure is a little bit bigger than the Gripping Beast plastics, but I feel that it is only right considering that he is the hero! ?

Things I’ve been doing over the past month and a bit. Batman, Killer Croc to get Punched, some stuff to try hiding from the punching, and not-Nuka Cola machines for a Fallout/Batman cross over maybe?
One of the Bards from Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures line. This was my first “commission.” An acquaintance at my FLGS was talking to me about finding a great miniature for a D&D Game, but put back on the rack because it was unpainted. I asked if I could try painting it up for him. Got some colors and thoughts from him, picked up the blister with 2 Bards ($5 USD) and went to work. Took me about 3 hours or so. Gave it to him today.
He said he liked it, but would have preferred a lighter skin tone as his image for the PC is a half-elf.
All in all a good paint and nice to paint for someone else!
I was recently able to finish up Snape and a different kind of wizard yesterday.
