More red… and filling huge gaps… I wish I had dry fitted them better the first time… these are the worst of all Star Wars Legions minis to date. I hope the filler won’t be to obvious on the table. Still need to do some touch ups, the base, varnish and some highlighting.

@dugthefug1644 inspiring stuff! Between you and @avernos I might be motivated enough to start now and maybe have something ready enough to go for the 150th anniversary… 🙂

@dugthefug1644 great work matey, lovely work on them they’ve turned out beautifully

@somegeezer I do like the Perry’s the size difference is a real pain the arse for me mind you, makes mixing the two annoying

@evilstu start now, 😉 like 4Ground it’s taken me 10 years to get here ^^

@avernos good to know. Between the Zulus being IMO more suitable and the better supporting cast (geddit) of metal minis I went for Perry. I love Warlord’s stuff but will pass on them this time

@somegeezer I didn’t realise that Warlord didn’t stock the Empress range anymore.. if you’ve not already invested you should check them out, both historical and hollywood versions of a lot of the people, sculpts are lovely and they match the warlord plastics. Actually Warlord was made to match them. Commissary Dalton was the only sculpt I had to go to the Perry’s for. Although I could’ve just used an officer in marching uniform.

@avernos you know that showing me pretty minis like that only enables my habit of accumulating pretty minis 🙂

@somegeezer I see what you did there – well played…

@avernos in for a plastic box and their two Rorke’s Drift all stars sets. I love the few Empress minis I’ve painted but a majority plastic collection was hard to resist

@sundancer  really good job. Those models are a huge pain, terrible dry fit. I’ve still got mine to tackle.
