Working on my first T-34. Indeed the first tank I’ve ever had the courage to paint up!
One of my hobby related presents this year war Tanks TheModernAge:
Wish I could be bothered to use my airbrush ?
Work continues on Mythic Abs: Pantheon. I’m on target to have these guys finished this year (Tomorrow, bar the varnish and flock?).
Been preparing for some Rangers of Shadow Deep missions.
Got some mileage out of some NorthStar Gnoll sprues by converting some Beastmen.
Someone shared a cheap way of buying giant spiders and I jumped at the chance. Meant to be party favours, but for the cost and a level of detail I was willing to live with it has been great.
The Ranger and his team are looking pretty good; just need a swordsman to finish my starter mission set.
Just considering options for my swamp zombies and civilians that might be needed in the early missions.
Some of my finished work.
X6-88 for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare by Modiphius.
Knight-Captain Cade from the Brotherhood of Steel for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare by Modiphius.
For more pictures of my Fallout: Wasteland Warfare miniatures, please visit my project on Beasts of War here: https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1187099/
The final batch for 2018 – some 1930s civilians. More here.
Just finished the first Squad of my 30k Thousand Sons. For all the pics visit my project:
My first and most likely last commission, the Chaos Terminators are finished. I don’t expect to do any more commission painting in the future, just not my thing.
For more pictures of the terminators check the project entry here: https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1318275/
My witch hunter is finished. Full project here https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1312491/
This is my end result for 2018, I plan to do a video later to walk through but I am happy with the result. Onward to 2019.
I’ve finished all the guys I wanted to get done before 2019. This takes me up to 320 models painted this year. This sounds great but its only a net dent of 89 models in my pile of unpainted shame. Still progress is progress. I’ll update my projects once I return to work.
Zeus
Ares
Athena
Leonidas
Hercules
Atalanta
3x Spartans
4x Amazons
I’ve also repaired and assembled all the Marines and Terminators I got in a bargain boot sale deal a while back. Here is what I’ve got right now. I don’t know 40k so please tell me if I’ve built anything thats not currently codex legal, or if I’ve built something with the wrong iconography. I want to learn to undestand all this better, and if I can fix anything I’d like to know before I start to paint. The majority of this stuff seems to be Space Wolves so thats what I’m building, but there is definitely some Dark Angels stuf in the box. Some of these guys have winged symbols on their legs (T2 & T4) and I suspect that marks them as Dark Angel parts. The bases are not finished and most of the models are not glued to their bases yet as I prefer to paint models separately.
I also got Kampfgruppe Müller started for Team Yankee:
2018 is coming to a close and I am still plugging away at my collection of unpainted Wolsung miniatures. I’ve got a couple Scylla cousins and the hero, Cal and Apone, base coated and stained. Next step is highlighting and details. A lot more photos on my project blog;
