That’s another 10 flyboys into the Death Strike. (onto 4th company now) Really hammered the finished models this week. 26 infantry in the bag. 84 altogether for these Astartes, so that “company level” is within sight. Not quite a true Codex company when I pass the hundred mark, but, it’ll look frickin impressive when I do.
(apologies for scrappy photos – i didn’t set up the shoot as well as normal)
This weekend going to work on the crew for the volley gun – well at least make a start
Its been a while since I posted in WAYPN but here is some table space filler for random scifi games.
Cardbord packaging for a toaster, Antenocities doors, hatches and vents and hot glue holding them together.

Finished my Volkssturm for Battlegroup Fall of the Reich…
Ernst Tiburzy – “As an ideal example for all brave soldiers, from the thirteen year old Jungvolk volunteers to the old men, was the Königsberger Volkssturm-Bataillonsführer und SA-Hauptsturmführer Ernst Tiburzy. The 34 years old, already seriously wounded East Prussian Tiburzy received the Knight’s Cross on February 10, 1945. Tiburzy was the Bataillonsführer of Volkssturm-Bataillon 25/82 in Festung Königsberg. When the Russians made an armoured assault, Tiburzy knocked out a T-34 with a Panzerfaust. When one of his platoon commanders cowardly tried to escape, Tiburzy shot the man, grabbed some new Panzerfäuste and knocked out a further four T-34’s. He then personally led his Batallion in a counter-attack on the Russian positions and held his part of the front sector.
In the Wehrmachtsbericht of February 28, 1945, it said that; “the awarding of the Knight’s Cross to SA-Hauptsturmführer Tiburzy, commander of a Königsberg Volkssturm Batallion, for the destruction of five Russian tanks”.
More WW2 troops, here are 17 more Americans for CoC.
Wanted to complete them to get a fully playable force, which I now have… hurray! 🙂 Lets see if I can get some games in. 😀
After over month away, I am finally painting again. It’s been great playing this week and getting back to my Norman levy archers.
See the projects page for my latest battle pics and my painting efforts.
“Saga – My Normans” and “Saga – My Vikings”
Been working on my project over the weekend, mostly by playing with my new toy, 3D printer.
The project can be seen here, please do go and comment on it
Last night was a very productive night of painting. Was able to finish three venoms start to finish for a dark eldar army commission I have been working on
And I was also able to finish painting the base of the Demogorgon commission I have been working on. You can check out the project Here
@janus1004 those yanks look great, i love the look of a small well rounded force.
I have finally finished (Excluding the basing) mt 12th Light dragoons for a large upcoming napoleonic battle. We are playing a black powder game but these chaps are based for Sharp Practice just in case they are called on to help my prussians out.
@civilcourage – Thanks, that is some good looking cavalry you have there yourself. Sharp Practice is on my radar, but I kind of hope that someone at the club will paint up forces so I can try it before committing to yet another time period… 🙂
Work has begun on the crew
