I’m going to call this one the old and the new and hope someone gets the reference. This is the Argonaut Commander from Crooked Dice and Vic Lewinski from Hasslefree Miniatures.

Table designed with a removable top so you could play a board game in the inset, and then cover it if you don’t finish the game in all one sitting.
Great for when you play long games like monopoly, or play with children with short attention spans.

This is my other ongoing project. About another 200 figures left to go. So may take some time. But you can’t beat a game with loads of 28mm figures.May 24, 2018 at 10:15 pm #1183183I don’t think I posted these when I finished them. The cleric is from Reaper and sculpted by Kev White (my personal favorite sculptor) while the halfling is from Stonehaven’s Halfling Kickstart. They are Sister Gerda and Hammy my characters in the long running Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign I’m involved in. That they have actually made it to fourth level is astounding considering the attrition rate in the game.
May 24, 2018 at 10:23 pm #1183249Playing some Runequest this weekend and the Gamemaster asked for Greek looking heroes. In addition to the Reaper Perseus I’ve already posted I completed a couple of original RQ minis, Achilles by the long extinct Superior Miniatures, and a wonderful nude hoplite from Hasslefree. Sorry about that, Lance.
May 24, 2018 at 11:24 pm #1183625I’m working on my box of Conan stuff. I was thinking of making it a project but I’ve been banging them out so fast I’m not sure now…
May 25, 2018 at 2:19 am #1184004Wow what a way to kick off the 2.0! I have a few things I need to post but I am going to try it directly from my phone (did an upgrade so I am hoping the new super duper camera makes better pictures) and then take a look at setting a few things up as projects.
@144artist those look great and the what I assume is an Amazon has wonderful body paint, just keep her away from Justin or she could end up with a green stuff teddy.
@amachan very pretty and how did you get those feathers to look so good?
@foehammer888 that is some pretty nice joinery
@laughingboy That is why I have a cell phone 🙂 that phone box looks great.
@fiore those minis look great especially in their natural environment.
@georgesealy I really like the bases
@brushstroke that is a really good question as to if we can in some way post am update here from a project? also those are nice archers.
@mage FEED ME! wow was that a Rick Moranis flashback.
@madasaskaven good looking table
Sorry that we haven’t been able to see the stuff everyone else is trying to post but Warzan has promised to work on this and I am sure the new punch list is only just starting to get going.

Well still not working, oh well.
May 25, 2018 at 7:23 am #1184443been waiting for the site to come back to ask for advise on the basing of my overloads.
im trying to get a cloud/ foggy look to the bases. i have just added cotton wool to the bases to test the look ( not glued on )so as i want to see though parts of the “cloud” i want it quite thin. cotton wool looks of for table top look but close up it too stringy. any tips on what i could use instead of cotton?
May 25, 2018 at 8:11 am #1184586@ghent99 It’s been over a week since I actually painted it, so I don’t remember the exact techniques that I used. I do think I did it using some wetblending/washing combination if I recall correctly. I have a bad memory and often don’t recall how I did something and every time I paint something I try to come up with a way on how to achieve the effect I want with techniques that I know. If it’s an effect I have to reconstruct over and over again, I will write it down.
May 25, 2018 at 8:48 am #1184629Lets try this again….
During the down time I fully painted my Retribution of Scyrah Mk2 Battlebox.
Kaelyssa, Night’s Whisper
Chimera
Griffon
Manticore
And a group shot, because why not?
I’m not starting work on my masons guild. Given I’m trying Angel Giraldez’s ALEPH white armour on them I’m also doing a bunch of Dreadball MVPs that want similar paint jobs at the same time. So far I’ve done all the airbrushing steps, missing out the ones that add a pink tinge(5 colours just to get to what looks like one) and now its time to deepen the shadows and add edge highlighting. I’ve also done a ball and a trophy, and base coated one more MVP when I was doing the Ret white armour.
Masons
Dreadball minis
And to finish off the batch, theres these 3 guys too
