I’ve been working on some Suicide Squad for Batman (to punch, if he can) lately and tried my hand at some OSL on Diablo.
Also got Enchantress finished up and updated the project.

August 20, 2018 at 12:25 am #1254624August 20, 2018 at 10:13 am #1254747I started painting my eight Wolds for Circle Orboros this weekend. On Friday two of them weren’t built and the rest were primed. I had them all finished on Sunday and even took time to prime another model and apply some washes to my second unit of Skinwalkers.
5 Woldwatchers
Woldwarden
Woldwyrd
Wold Guardian
I now own 6 Woldwatchers. They are a single pose model and one of them came with two left arms, which I chose to go with rather than wait weeks for a replacement. Can you tell which it is? I’ve done my best to give them all a different pose to give the army more character when they are all on the table together. What do you think?
I also accidentally started work on my Skinwalkers. My grey fur method starts with 2 heavy washes that take 10 minutes to apply to the unit but hours to dry properly. I ran in to a long wash drying time on the Wolds and I hated sitting there watching paint dry so I chose to prevent that happening with the Skinwalkers by getting a head start. The fur still needs 3 layers of drybrush. The cloaks will not end up grey, but as I needed to start with a white prime I’m going to drybrush up the cloaks afterwards and use this as a poor mans zenithal preshade and apply a Scale75 Inktense Chesnut ink over the top and see how it goes, although I’m supposed to be working on my 40k Ork project so we will see what I work on when I next pick up a brush.
August 20, 2018 at 10:52 am #1254784Finished up a wee thing I made for a base the other day from scraps. A sandwich board!!! Fun wee thing and served as a good piece for a torrent wood workup on stream. A short workup over in the project blog here
August 20, 2018 at 7:35 pm #1255075It took 5 days (evenings) for General Leia and her Squad to be finished. Nice easy to paint models. Can recommend! See it all HERE! (After this text)

August 22, 2018 at 8:18 am #1255729I’ve been making some Yavin scenery and would appreciate some comments on this item as it’s a tester. When I compare it to the research pictures of the Yavin temple I feel thy mine is too brown and that maybe a yellow/sepia wash would have been more appropriate. Thoughts?
August 22, 2018 at 8:43 am #1255746@mags66 Sorry for late question, what are you using for your plants on the speeders? They look amazing!

August 22, 2018 at 11:10 am #1255813Hi all,
some days ago I showed you my Volksgrenadier army 1944/’45 project for Bolt Action. I showed you some finished infantry and work in progress snapshots of a Pak43. The Pak43 (28mm;Heer46) with Crew (28mm; Warlord Games) is ready for combat! 🙂
The crew and gun are removeable. Everything is magnetized for a better transport in my army bag.
Time to hunt down some tanks 😉 Prost! 🙂
August 22, 2018 at 3:15 pm #1255954I finally completed Lady Quimby from Wolsung’s Ash and Oak Club. A very characterful model that went together fairly easily and was a great deal of fun to paint. I’ve got more pictures on the Project Blog.
August 23, 2018 at 12:07 am #1256144Done with Brother Vinni mini from the set of Nuclear Adventurers. I was thinking more of the videogame Metro. In scratchbuilding a display base to pull it all together I got inspiration to do another one more akin to “The Future” from ’12 Monkeys’ (imo the mini series never happened).
August 23, 2018 at 7:22 pm #1256559Introduced my son and a friend of his to Kill Team, and they liked it… so now I needed an additional Space Marine which was a fun and fast paint job. I assembled it a long time ago, so the base is a bit different. Maybe I will add some tufts, not certain. Otherwise the model i complete. 🙂
