Imperial Agent Crane Rank is all finished, and that’s the last of the Infinity I own all painted. This is the sculpt that came free with Angel Giraldez Masterclass Vol 2 so I tried to follow his guide with some success. I quite like the way the orange came out, and the turquoise is a nice colour. That guide definitely felt like an afterthought for the book when it could have been a focus. Half a page for the whole model, when he was devoting a page or two to a single colour for the rest of the book. He skipped stages I felt could really have done with expanding upon, like the highlighting of the black with white. Mine was a bit of a mess, but the varnish seems to have made most of it vanish somehow.
The base was made by gluing down a length of sprue intended as curb, and them poly filler was applied as concrete with paving slab lines carved in to it. This was my first time working with filler like this and I would do things differently if I did this again.
I tried to paint it following last months AssetDrop concrete formula, however I didn’t read it until after I had assembled the model and painted everything. The guide requires a lot of sponge work and comes with a sponge larger than the mini! I tore off some and used a pair of tweezers as best as I could.

July 23, 2018 at 9:40 pm #1238624The first 3 models of my Deathwatch are finished and here they are:
Solomon, Deathwatch Captain from the Black Templars. Slowly marching up the battlefield firing his combi-plasma while under the protection of his iron halo. He has his power maul ready for any xenos that dare to get close.
Úlfr Whiteclaw, Deathwatch Sergeant from the Space Wolves. Running amok with a lightning claw and a storm bolter.
Agam, Deathwatch Veteran from the Dark Angels. Currently shooting an enemy with his plasma gun that he downed earlier with his power sword.

July 24, 2018 at 2:22 pm #1239195The Lead adventure forum exchange box touched down at my place, and I just had to grab the tobsen 77 tank in there. Its been ages since I painted something this large so fast (2-3 days?) This thing is going to be ace for Maximillian ’34 (by Mama press) and Pulp Alley! I have included some WIP pictures because the side are pretty obscured by the wheels. The kit was missing headlights when I got it so I printed some covered slit headlights, I also added a LOT of detail bits from the Max ’34 range from Eureka miniatures. (many of my own design)
July 24, 2018 at 4:40 pm #1239220Been away for almost a week so my table and brushes got dusty. Painted up this Hasslefree Minis Chaos Warrior (on a Secret Weapon base) to get back in the swing. Still needs some flocking and grass tufts but close enough for some pictures.

July 25, 2018 at 7:14 pm #1239888@chaosgorka Nice work there. Do you expect the webbing to survive storage and handling, or do you think its only really suitable for display pieces? I’ve always suspected it would be super fragile and I’m curious as its cool.
