A slightly later attempt at a Sherman but still a few years ago. Gave it a bit of a tidy up. Fairly happy with this one. More interesting with the Warlord tank crew mini added.

DM an adventure for 6 player on a Monday night.

A new player has joined and has got very enthusiastic but was very down in the mouth last session.

He bought a figure for his barbarian, following the path of the wolf. He has no background in miniature painting and was upset that he could not do the figure justice.

As a dutiful DM with a fair few hours behind the brush, I offered to paint his mini for him.

I haven’t posted anything in a while but I thought I’d share this set of 3D printed minis of Captain Carter and Hydra Stomper.

@jayadan, that’s fantastic! Perfect timing as I just saw both in the recent What if …?

Definitely not RoboCop. CPP-1 from the MERCS Recon board game. I’ll be using it in the MERCS miniatures game.

@blipvertus “I’d buy that for a dollar”. Great paint job on that not-a-Robocop mini.

I read a book on WW1 in Africa. It was fascinating. Cool direction to take a Blood & Valor game in. Nice paint jobs.

@trewets lovely paint job and nice setting for the pic amongst the scenery.

@dugthefug1644 thanks, it was super simple to paint which is probably why it turned out so nice.

I read the book Guerilla by Edwin P. Hoyt nearly 30 years ago and I’ve been fascinated with the African campaign ever since.  When I saw that the African campaign was included in Blood and Valor, I knew that was going to be a big project as I want all the things!

I’m currently muddling through von Lettow’s own book for a different perspective, but Hoyt’s book is probably the best on the subject.

251/9 Hanomag Stummel. Thinking of dusting off my Chain of Command book and seeing how to point up the Bolt Action lists I have already built and painted, my Japanese and USMC of the last year. Then set about finishing up my mostly painted German force and make a project about a thousand point German Bolt Action force. Then take a look at how I would field it in Chain of Command as well. Fun times ahead.

Had some unfinished BattleTech minis lying about so finally decided to bust them out and finish them. The olive drab minis are the old style PVC style lance pack. The unit is the Eridani Light Horse. The blue Battlemaster is a Steiner 1st Royal Guards RCT. The grey Maruader is painted up as a Grey Death Legion mech. I have no idea what the origin of the model is. The Thor/Summoner is an Iron Wind Metals painted up as Clan Wolf Alpha Galaxy. It still needs decals but it otherwise done. The Urbanmech I picked up at GenCon and is one of the new plastic minis from Catalyst Game Labs. 952693AD-1C33-4E53-B2D8-0AD53755574C364AC23B-5A49-406D-B52C-C4E9709EA8EE37E577DD-1A5E-453F-9E15-0400B31D02F5F6842DD9-55C9-4392-8847-3F527FB66264FEE61123-9D49-4439-8E16-797FDACBAF5CC3D3D504-92E4-41FB-AC1A-275206221105166E2AB4-187F-41B3-90BD-67C0AA0A086C1472D64B-D9B6-409A-A60E-DE45FF07DF324539283C-8E23-4910-9D5B-375304E65E51DBBBE97D-2806-4EC7-BB0C-39F8FE68DD814FBF7FF3-6F68-494D-B0E4-31BF1DF696103229CC2B-B846-4DEE-88DB-709148F28D1A2CDAC7E4-8471-48A1-A981-F6616DF9D7C7BD51E96D-A55D-4D03-9820-78C2CA850F33B74F1886-3E70-4388-B3B7-1A35AF7A1374C07EDF5F-4B37-4AF0-ADD7-3C047833E83D631E9B6D-AB7E-410E-834A-99766239001F
