Hi folks,
First time posting for a while.
I finally got around to finishing my Orlock Gang for Necromunda.
This has taken me so long that I have in fact stopped playing the game, not to say I won’t play again in the future.
I went for a 1980s British coal theme with the colors. (Orlocks being miners)
Very glad to get these finished.
@144artist thank you. Yes the t-rex is from bones 4
I have been working on the marvel stuff and a bunch are almost finished. But I was able to finish up Captain Rex for Star Wars legion.
Hey all, been AWOL for a bit but last night I painted the first of my great war British from great war miniatures.
I’ve never been so obsessed over shades of brown before.
There’s a few technical issues, I found these new vallejo shades tricky to thin properly, they possibly need more mixing. The result being a bit of “dragging” if you look closely.
Day Five of the whistle stop tour into the world of 1938 A Very British Civil War and today is the turn of the Albertines. With his brother Edward VIII refusing to abdicate, Prince Albert and the rest of the royal family retreated for safety reason to Canadian. Wanting to make his brother see sense and do the right thing, Prince Albert, with the aid of the Empire and Commonwealth landed back in the United kingdom with a aim to united the factions gathered against Edward and defeat him.
This is a chap is fro one of the Regiments that remained loyal to the Royal Family, renamed from the King’s Own to Prince Albert’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
Finished off all of my mechs from my Battletech: A Game of Armoured Combat box.
Got myself a project for in between to get some time of my WotR armies and finished my Harriers.
Ork Force 1 adds some Fighta Bommas.
When you’re really excited about a game so you take a week off to paint the minis…
You can see the individual models here – https://www.flickr.com/photos/dullspork/albums/72157711878183812
Some more progress, loving these models
Today, Day six, in my tour of the world of 1938 A Very British Civil War it is the turn of the Scottish Republic. Yes the Scottish Republic as Scotland declared itself and fought to remain a republic at the start of the Civil War as the King was being unconstitutional and the installing of the Moseley Government. This chap is one of the many local militias raised in the high and lowlands of Scotland to remove the Royalist and over faction threats in Scotland and defend the Republic.
Ork Force 1 so far. Just a pair of ‘Eavy Bommers to go.
Monkey from Rise of Moloch
@trewets Upon first glance I really thought you were showing 10mm Warmaster figures. Closer inspection revealed a solid force of classic GW 28mm High Elves. That will be a great looking force when you finish. Reaper Bones and Mantic both have some affordable big monsters that would look great with your army.
@thedace some very nice looking Orlocks you have there. Well done.
@chaosgorka now I really want to paint my own Bones T-Rex. Great job on finishing another Rex!
@mellett68 glad you’re back. I understand the obsession with browns.
@deathwig those are some of the best looking Battletech paintjobs I’ve seen.
@miniaturebrushwork that rigging is looking great. You have way more patience than I do.
@blipvertus you look well prepared to seize the high ground. Nice work.
@jayadan you’re excited about a game while I’m excited about your paint jobs. Been following your progress on Tumblr as well.
@civilcourage what wonderful skin tones you have achieved. I am most covetous.
@thebelon your weathering is superb.
@d2painterth love the face on your gibbon. The blues are well blended.
I was able to finish my own Hasslefree mini last night. The figure is a dwarf version of Kal Jericho but I will running him as my dwarf Daredevil in the Wolsung RPG.
Many more pictures posted on my Project Blog so come check them out;
