Finished my first Burrows & Badgers mini, Brutus Testudo. Now I have a tortoise I suppose I should do a hare next.
I gave NMM a go, I’m not sure I am happy with the results, a bit more practice needed.
@dracs Oook!
@midget Great work! I wish my 5th ever mini looked that good 🙂
@brennon that civilian clothing and hair have come out nice. Any plans for the bases?
@silverstars You have my absolute respect trying to get that lot painted. keep on truckin!
@doctorether Can’t wait to see you guys battle that!
June 17, 2018 at 4:02 pm #1211230Another quick vehicle finished. I’m trying to create a worn, grubby appearance for this mantic hornet, used am airbrush, a clay wash and little else.
More details on how I got here in my project log, adventures in airbrushing.
June 17, 2018 at 6:26 pm #1211460Will soon put together a Saga project for my efforts so far, but in the meantime I have a well followed Facebook page devoted to Saga and try to keep content coming as often as I can.

I finally completed some mounted Norman javelin warriors.
June 17, 2018 at 7:38 pm #1211558Long time lurker finally getting involved with the WAYPN thread. I have started a project on the same but here are a few pics of my Kingdom Death Minis.
My current project is the Butcher and here are some WIP pics. The armour and fur on the cloak are done for the moment. I am currently working on the bone, skirt and arms. The next step is to wash and drybrush them.
June 17, 2018 at 8:06 pm #1211599Some updates on my slingers for Saga, skin, bases, and hair remaining. These are three of a total of twelve, all Gripping Beast plastics.
June 17, 2018 at 8:26 pm #1211610Howdie folks. Ordered in the wood and tools for my gaming table and while I’m waiting for it to be delivered I got my Seraphon game back on. My Slann Starmaster has been staring at me accusingly so I put paint to brush.
Undercoating with Stynylrez Black.
Starting with the floaty chair, I base coated the stone with tamiya sea grey, shot through my airbrush.
Next I picked out the vines with a dark brown base and a tan highlight.
And picked out the leaves in a couple of shades of green.
I picked out the tusks with vallejo ivory and the gold with tamiya gold leaf.
I used Army Painter quickshades to pick out details and blend edges.
And after a bit of tweaking it was pretty much done.
Next it was the turn of the big fella. I wanted to incorporate something to do with stars so I started by picking out some areas with the airbrush in white.
Using very watered down blues, purples and pinks I slowly built up a nebula
And dotted stars in with a brush.
I picked out his jewelry in gold and test fitted him.
That’s enough for one night. I want to darken his skin folds a little and still need to finish off the details on the chair…
June 17, 2018 at 10:39 pm #1211785More Escher but not one for my own gang this time. This one is a commission. Pink and purple are not two colours I usually use but those are the gang colours the client requested! Lotta fun doing the hair! More over on the project page.
June 17, 2018 at 10:40 pm #1211786I’ve had a little play with some clump foliage over the weekend and managed to create some smoke billowing out the top of my Warglaive. I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out. I’ve only got the transfers to go to finish him off but trying to find House Griffith transfers is like trying to find rocking horse poop. I may have to create my own somehow, for now here’s a pick of the smoke stacks.

June 17, 2018 at 11:40 pm #1211811I painted a simple space marine from Games Workshop in the Imperial Fists colours. I’m slowly running out of models to paint so I resort to painting simple space marines for variety.
June 18, 2018 at 10:42 am #1211948@amachan Careful! There’s many dark rumours about what happens when you run out of figures to paint. Luckily I don’t think anyone on here has ever managed that. You need some retail therapy. Lol
June 18, 2018 at 10:49 am #1211951@tonysilvey Ha ha. Yes, I heard of it. The problem is money at the moment, so can’t really do any retail therapy. I am also still waiting on 2 delayed kickstarters and one delayed miniatures skirmish game that will hopefully fix this problem in the next weeks or so.
June 18, 2018 at 2:21 pm #1212118Hi all 🙂
Amazing work on here as always… I need to sit down and watch the Hobby Hangout and catch up.
So, this weekend I finished the first part of next little project. Painting up a stockade style wall for my Khandish campaigns.
Started with the lesser gate piece as a colour test. What do you think?

June 18, 2018 at 6:46 pm #1212467Such great paintjobs I think I am up to date on my thumbs up. Great work from everyone!
If I had to pick just one it has to be @tonysilvey to mention. That turtle is awesome! Burrows and badgers is very much not my thing but I love this model and how it was brought to life!
I am just about to start a new painting project after I finished designing and building and redesigning this.
I you want to know how I got this far you can get more on the project log and keep up the great work!
