@laughingboy – Nice team there! Been missing your streams, will we see you on Twitch anytime soon? 🙂
June 13, 2018 at 11:50 am #1208266This time around I finished some 6pdr medium artillery for my 1805 Austrians and its corresponding limber. For more pics, the entire army and in detail information go here:

June 13, 2018 at 1:29 pm #1208329June 13, 2018 at 1:38 pm #1208330Making slow progress on my tortoise. Life keeps getting in the way 🙂
June 13, 2018 at 2:44 pm #1208358@janus1004 feels nice to be missed thank you, I will certainly be back. I am in a bit of lull at the moment as I don’t feel my stuff is interesting/good enough to share beyond just a picture here or there.
June 13, 2018 at 2:55 pm #1208361Definately try to break that cycle @laughingboy the fellowship we all share here is 100 times more important than the project or the results.
The very act of you doing anything helps encourage others mate 🙂
Let me know if we can help in some way 🙂
June 13, 2018 at 8:21 pm #1208570@tonysilvey looking great. Slow and steady wins the race after all.
@laughingboy I understand the way you feel but don’t give in to your self doubt. Warzan is correct in all his statements. In fact, this forum and now the Projects page have really helped me push through my own frustrations and hobby burnout. Sometimes when I post WiP or stuff I doubt I’m surprised at the reactions of others not to mention how it looks to me on screen. I always enjoy seeing your posts so please don’t hesitate in showing what you’re doing.
Speaking of Projects, I started one of my own in order to track my progress and encourage me to finish the Kickstart rewards I just received. I went a little crazy on the Secret Weapon Tablescape Dungeon Tiles and am loathe to store them unpainted for fear they will fall into the dreaded “Projects for Later” category. Here are a couple shots of what one can do with them with a couple minis thrown in for scale. For more in depth coverage, and to see if I can really finish all of what I ordered, please check out the Projects page.
June 13, 2018 at 9:30 pm #1208599June 14, 2018 at 1:20 am #1208654Ah, Cross of Iron….The 2nd favorite movie of WWII Wargamers! 🙂 Good to see your work Suetonius! Especially with an easier to pronounce handle! 😀
June 14, 2018 at 4:55 pm #1209095@laughingboy I don’t think I have seen anything that you shared that didn’t look great. I don’t think you should worry about a lull. Even the most enthused and energetic of us can’t keep that up 365 days a year. I do feel the new project function is encouraging me to do more hobby, but don’t feel pressured to keep us happy by sharing more 🙂 Be nice to see more when you’re ready.
I have had fun with terrain, my favourite Mantic TWD miniature and some Norman cavalry.

June 14, 2018 at 10:15 pm #1209293Just painted up The Librarian from Micro Art’s Discworld range as a Father’s Day present.
My dad was the one who introduced me to Discworld, which is one reason I love it so much, so I thought a reminder that it’s all his fault was a good idea.
I posted a project with the various steps I took in painting it.
June 14, 2018 at 10:41 pm #1209319I keep getting told to put my stuff up here, even if I only started this hobby recently, so bear with this noob :’D So far I only painted 4 chibi minis from Masmorra (which my sister bought) by CMON. Then I got this Pirate Queen as a painting challenge from a friend, because he wanted to see how I paint something other than a chibi mini :’D
June 15, 2018 at 12:45 am #1209360June 15, 2018 at 2:35 pm #1209807I’ve not been overwhelmed and absorbed by Cyberpunk 2077. No. I mean, I didn’t dig out this miniature from Hasslefree and try and paint him in the style of one of the characters from the 2020 book…no way.
He needs some fixing here and there but I think that he’s worked quite well. I might go back and do some extra work to the jacket but I also need to work out how to base him in a proper industrial setting.
June 16, 2018 at 7:06 pm #1210574Started painting the official Beasts of War set of Kingdom Death.
Which means a second go at painting this model 😀
