Tiny Furniture’s Candles review: https://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/18/18200.phtml
So after finishing the giant blue dragon yesterday had an itch to paint another dragon. Nolzur’s marvelous miniatures copper dragon done with Green stuff world’s chameleon color and tufts from gamers grass.
Amazing plants!!!
I’ve been eyeing up Sharp Practice since I saw the let’s plays a few months ago.
Well I took the plunge (and possibly went a bit berserk) and picked up some Perry, Front Rank and Warlord minis to build an early peninsular war British force.
After what feels like a hundred years assembling I finally got to slap a bit of paint on one of my infantry officers.
I’m going to bring the trousers up a bit more, they’re supposed to be canvas after all.
Also I’m having a real mare with Vallejo paints at the moment, I just can’t seem to get them to apply nicely.
They end up with a really odd waxy shiny finish that I don’t like at all.
I suspect I’m not getting them to mix properly so I’m going to try some agitators and redo the jacket.
Going a bit over the top on the stark white is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.
Hi all, Commissar Severina Raine is leaving my workbench for her duty. 🙂
The Emperor protects!

I tried contrast paints for the first time the other day, just quickly slapped some paint down. I was trying to use as few paints as possible and be as quick as I could. I’m relatively impressed with the result really especially for the ease and quickness of it.
I got some paint in the wrong area which obviously ruins the effect a little but nothing too major. I would need to either be neater with it in future or touch it up after (which sort of slightly defeats the point in my opinion) but I’m definitely going to be trying more of the range.
Dogmeat for Fallout: Wasteland Warefare
I finished my min unit of Wolves of Orborus for Circle Orborus, Hordes.
The blue is almost all airbrush work. I’m mostly happy with it, but I think I need to highlight it further with a regular brush, but I’m afraid of ruining the effect. What do you think? It is a Charger warjack, and 3 Stormsmith Stormcallers for Cygnar, Warmachine
I also darkened the wings on my Daemon Prince with a few targeted layers of Nuln Oil. I could do more layers, but I am afraid I’ll go too far. Any opinions appreciated.
Huzzah!
And here are my latest (finished to varnish tonight and then snapped the pictures)
My Ju88 for my Battle of Britain Blood red skies, cause Germany won’t get the Brits witout bombers and the poms got to have bombers to shoot down
Enjoy folks. I promise next time it won’t be 1/200 aircrafts
Still going with Jeanne d’Arc, refining little things here and there.
Meanwhile I also basecoated a couple other Infinity miniatures.
