I was hoping this box set would be rubbish and not at all tempting to buy… and while I don’t need any Rohirrim thanks to Pelennor Field box set… those Dunlending could be useful in my One Ring RPG… as could those houses.

Now I need it to be stupidly expensive to put me off buying it.

I totally understand. The miniatures are nice (they’d even fit in Saga for example). There’s a bit of terrain too.

    But don’t worry …

you probably will have to queue for hours on release day to pre order it, so chances of getting to spend that money are likely zero if you miss that opportunity 😉

(I seriously doubt GW will have this box available after the launch weekend, because it’s not one of their main line products)

What is your definition of this? I’m guessing it’ll be 149€/GPB and up

Not sure what stupid expensive is… I’ll know it when I see it 🙂

From previous two starter sets I have 60 orcs and various other stuff. Well over 100 miniatures.

I’ve fetched the Pelennor box down… I may dive in this week.

Also… I could treat myself to the Rohirrim box for my 60th birthday…
