As Spellcrow announced in their August 2024 post in the social media, the Umbra Turris miniature line was temporarily switched off on their webstore until further notice. The production team was working hard during the past few months on re-making the moulds of the major part of the range, in preparation for the 4th Edition of Umbra Turris Skirmish Game.
With this year coming to an end, I’m bringing the exciting news: the Umbra Turris 28/32 mm scale fantasy miniatures – with the beloved Dyniaqs, Orcs and Hobgoblins on the forefront – are finally coming back to the Spellcrow webstore in December 2024. Consequently, it means that the 4th Edition of the Umbra Turris itself is also drawing near, allowing them to begin sharing news & updates about the upcoming edition.
To celebrate the comeback of the miniatures, Spellcrow is launching a Kickstarter campaign with both new and old Hobgoblin models. This is a perfect occasion for you to upgrade your existing collection with the new models or grab them all if you don’t yet have them. Here’s a sneak-peek at the first banner of the Hobgoblins Kickstarter campaign that is expected to launch on December 6, 2024.
What to expect?
The Hobgoblins campaign will last 10 days. It will cover 7 of the previously released Hobgoblin miniatures, as well as at least 7 new ones. But that is not the best part!
December 6, 2024 is also the date of the Umbra Turris miniatures return to the store – https://www.spellcrow.com/ – which means… if you back the Hobgoblins campaign, you can also order more miniatures on the Spellcrow webstore post free and combine shipping with your Kickstarter pledge! The webstore order would be then sent according to the pledge delivery date which is likely to be March 2025.
The following are the examples of the miniature sets that will be available to buy on the Spellcrow webstore once the campaign starts.
Why you should back it?
Not only will you be able to get ahold of at least 7 completely new Hobgoblin models, you will get them all for a better price than ever and receive a voucher to shop for more miniatures on spellcrow.com that you can add to your pledge!
Not to mention that once the 4th Edition of the Umbra Turris Skirmish Game is released in 2025, you will already have the miniatures to play for you and for your friend if they support Spellcrow’s project as well.
Make sure to let your friends know and stay tuned for the next updates and a pre-launch page shortly!
