Yay … a free Errata pack for Reichsbusters arrived today.

Pessimists might say that they should have proof read and tested the game better before hitting the ‘print’ button, but I think it is nice that they did this even though they technically didn’t need to.

I find myself looking at the Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone kickstarter … and the shiny is tempting me.
They could make for some interesting crews for Stargrave even if the game itself may or may not be so hot.

The Cyberpunk is tempting but not 160USD tempting I think 😉 The base game only has 12 minis and the rest are add-on.

    @sundancer
I do agree that the ‘game’ is a bit too expensive, but I think that’s why they’re adding those 21 “free” miniatures every day.
It is the kind of gimmick that kickstarters ‘need’ in order to keep interest high during the campaign.
If they hadn’t done any stretchgoals then the morons would have complained about something else.

    — edit —
Yikes … you need to pay 200$ to qualify for those “free” minis. I had assumed they were in the core set.
Not that many stretchgoals to make the ‘game’ itself a good choice as it is too expensive for the given content even if the terrain is all plastic IMHO. Even GW’s ‘exclusive’ boxed faction sets are ‘cheap’ by comparison to this …

I also think that with the shipping cost and the custom fee that you’re going to have to pay you need to go ‘all in’ to get anything out of it.
Better to wait for the stuff to become available in a more EU-friendly webshop if you only want a few.

I’ve gone for my usual tactic of waiting ’til the last day to decide if it is worth it.
It will be interesting to see if the game gains a following to support it post kickstarter at all.
At the moment it is more like minis with a game attached.
Cost is likely to be high due to licensing …

My pledge is to keep on with my 54mm ECW armies.  Been painting them since before Christmas, I am so close to finishing, but strangely new parcels keep arriving, delaying the finish somewhat.

    • Spring (on the northern hemisphere): blessing or curse?  I love Spring, for the hope it brings to me of life renewing itself.  Unfortunately I’ll soon have hayfever but only for a few weeks.
    • Bright evil day star: miniature gaming outside, yes, no, are you mad?  I am hoping to game outside when it finally warms up out there.  We had a couple of games last year in my mate’s garden, just had to peg the gaming cloth down after a gust of wind lifted it causing my left flank to advance suddenly.
    • Are you well hydrated?  Not enough really, but I do drink tea all day.  In the Summer I’ll carry a water bottle with me.
