*crawling out from a far flung corner of the Internet* Ok… I am glad we have our thing here going on. There are some odd and crazy things out there that need not be spoken of like Lovecraft’s Old Ones. In lieu of that crap I am happy to see you all and report that I will move the idea of a miniature chain, a figure gifted from one to another person and then they pass on a new figure to someone else (a cascading freebie in a sense). I won’t be adding any magnets to bases or interchangeable parts after reading shipping regulations.

Once I get some work stuff done I’ll kick out a piece to @danlee for starters but it can go on from there. It was a half-baked idea that might be better to not be limited to COGs. *shrug* It was just a thought to make it kind of a perk among those of us with mini madness.

@horati0nosebl0wer looking forward to seeing what you send me. It’s a good idea. It might just take a while to build momentum.

Monday it was 82°F. It dropped Tuesday to freezing and began snow/rain into sleet. Yesterday the snow melted and today its just chilly at 45°F. It should be back to into the 80s this weekend. Ah, the joys of living where I do. Needless to say there’s not be any messing with weathering powder outside to avoid the mess indoors. Instead I’ve found a custom size filter manufacturer and placed an order for some MERV 11 grade filters to set into my portable airbrush kit. If I measured right and memory serves it should be 7″ tall by 16″ wide. I did this as I’ve wondered about how often I should be swapping out filtration. Well, its been a while since I did it last and the dust on the inside as well as the material collected on the secondary filter tells me I should’ve done it a while back. Anywhat, I’ll be pleased once this all comes together.

For the moment I offer the image of the consolation figure for @danlee to enjoy. I will warn though that the white ink does reactivate once painted on so laying down a light coat of gloss varnish (best with an airbrush/rattle can) will allow brushwork to follow.
