it doesn’t have to be a new new car, does it ? 😉

    I’ve got my Kult books … 😀

Pacific Rim kickstarter has gone digital for their final wave 3 delivery, because shipping would be too expensive :

They’ve included the .stl-files for the models as well, which is something I wasn’t expecting as it is based on a 3rd party IP

It’s Tuesday. My guts are revolting and I can’t tell if I’m feeling sick, it’s because of the potential costs of the MOT that’s due today or just a general “world is going to shit” feeling.

Anyhow. Last night I did a write up on my experiences so far with Army Painters Speedpaints on my personal blog [German] and then spend an hour to get that into the project system. It’s a three part update.

    2022 a year for resolutions… right?

those orkses do look nice, a bit too green/cartoony for my test but spot on for classic orks.

Now to see if I can do any form of hobby today, without getting distracted by CP2077 (got my smartlink for my gun).

The first braindance was fun. The environment where that happened was definitely 18+ by American standards 😀

(braindance = immersive VR , ‘better than life’)

    Hails all,

My hobby plans sadly fell by the wayside over the last few weeks. Had a big change in my job and it took up more brain space than I was expecting.

That said, the second square of my hobby bingo chart is finally done. These guys alternated between being interesting and a complete grind to do. I’m really pleased with how they turned out but they’re a pain to take pictures of because the yellow really blows out. There’s actually a lot more gradient in person. I might try to get some daylight pics.

Next up is a Datasmith to accompany them. He has most of his basecoats down already so a little tidying up and then onto some layering. Once he’s done I need to get another squad of Skitarii knocked together. Planned out my army and left myself a Troops Choice short for a legal list.

Gaming has ben going well too. I spent last Saturday at the table and got in games of Tannhauser, X-Wing and D&D. I have a game of Space Hulk lined up for tomorrow. We’re nearly done with the mission book so I’ll have to see what we can move on to next. Might start looking at Blackstone Fortress, loads of fun stuff in that.

    Great choice of music.

Hobby Bingo… totally forgot about that….

Good morning everybody. Stream last night was lovely, especially the look on Gerrys face after my “tiny grand reveal” but uploading to youtube really is a PITA.

    Today is Thursday.

The world, in general, is still a big pile of shite.

On the plus side: since Tuesday I started reading a new book to my daughter when it’s bed time. It’s a small little book from an author who I think has a bright future ahead of him. We’re reading Lord Of The Rings. 😉

Also on today’s to-do list: post tooth extraction inspection.

    Let’s get crackin’.

I was reading you post and expected the book title to be Lord of the Flies.

No, that’s a book I’ll leave her to discover once she’s old enough on her own
