2024 really starts with a bang… sort of.
It has been raining like shite for weeks and now the neighbourhood is starting to drown. They are emplacing mobile dykes.

That is literally 2 streets from our home. A bit more “downstream” they’ve cut down trees from the dams

Happy New Complete Orbit of the Sun! I’ll be honest, I was glad to see the back of 2023. And despite promising myself an early night, I stayed up, just to see the old year gone and taking all it’s shite with it.
On a slightly cheerier note, I got to catch up with my three sisters (albeit a slightly strange and sombre Xmas without our mum) but we made the most of it and actually had quite a nice time, all thing considered.
And I’m determined that’s what we’re going to do for 2024.

I’m making great progress on my Dungeonalia Head over Heels project – printing loads of terrain.New Years Resolution?
I don’t normally bother but…. go on then. This year, I’ll make an effort to always top up my tank on an overnight print job
2023-me would have been furious.
2024-me is looking forward to making the most of a bad job and seeing how it all turns out anyway!
