@limburger I didn’t see the 3D version.

My theatre had lots of real people, but it was very streamlined. The chair service was really nice – we got enough beer for the movie, snacks, and it was almost as nice as being at home. Maybe even better. Overall, the cost made the movie worthwhile, but I wouldn’t do it for every movie. Certainly not for ones that will be a week in theatre and then streaming.
